Road Safety Week

Learning Outcomes: 

• Recognise the importance of being safe in and around roads and vehicles.

• Identify and explore ways children can keep themselves and others safe when walking, riding, or travelling.

• Develop awareness of community helpers who support road safety, such as police officers and crossing guards.

• Engage in hands-on experiences that build understanding of road signs, pedestrian safety, and safe travel routines.

• Express learning through play, communication, and creativity — fostering confidence, awareness, and responsibility when out in the community.
